Sometimes you have to think of some quiz ideas fast, maybe you need to pitch them to a client, or you maybe you are organizing a quiz night. Fact is, you need a good idea but you don’t want to use those boring standard quiz topics. So to help you out, here are ten original quiz ideas you can impress your players with.

1. World Cuisine
   ask questions about world famous dishes or weird ingredients.
2. Games
   think of board games, computer games and even the games you played in the schoolyard.
3. Social Media
   How internet savvy are your players? Do they have a Facebook page, but do they know what Farm Ville is? Or maybe let them explain what a retweet is.
4. Heart of Africa
   Savannah, lions, diamonds and bush men are just some keywords that come to mind.
5. Space
   A bit of a geeky subject, but you would be amazed about how many people still think Pluto is a planet.
6. Holidays
   What do people know about Eastern and Thanksgiving? Or maybe do a Christmas quiz.
7. Transportation
   We all drive cars or take the subway, but there are a lot of fun facts to be found about transportation. What kind of weird forms of transportation can you google up?
8. Porn Stars
   This subject fits better at a quiz night with friends then at a professional event, but you would be amazed how much your friends know about porn stars.
9. Ants
   It is fun to go all the way at a subject, so come up with 30 questions about ants and you’ll be amazed how much you learn about such a little creature. Of course you can pick any subject and go all the way with that.
10. Quizzes
    A quiz about quizzes can be a bit too much, but it can be a nice joke subject. You can ask questions about Weekend Millionaires, Triviant Pursuit and other quiz games.
