Last week we launched our own social media API to easily link our quizzes to the different social networks around there. The first execution of it will be launched this friday in the Santa Quiz for Spil Games. It will feature instant postings to your Twitter stream and your Facebook wall. Next up will be integration of LinkedIn and the local Dutch social network Hyves.
This is just the first step in our mission of social quiz connectivity, so stay tuned!

A very cool quiz concept launched by Orange UK to promote the Moterola DEXT, their new smartphone targeted to social media addicts. The quiz Friend-O-Meter taps into your Facebook, Twitter and/or MySpace account and pulls out detailed information about your friends. It turns this information into questions about age, status updates and it even pulls in photo’s and asks you about those. Read the rest of this entry »

Air New Zealand just launched the “KiWeets 30 Days & 30 Ways to Get to New Zealand” campaign. A quiz game where you can win a free ticket to New Zealand by answering a trivia question on Twitter.
Air New Zealand will ask a new trivia question every day for 30 days on the Twitter account @KiWeets. And each day the airline will give away a economy-class round trip to New Zealand to a randomly selected user who responded correctly. On day 30 the grand price will be given away, a business-class ticket to New Zealand. The grand prize winner will be the Twitterer with the highest point total over the entire promotion period.
